報告人簡介：

Qiang Ma, received his Ph.D. Degree from Graduate School of Informatics, Kyoto University in 2004. He was a research fellow of JSPS from 2003 to 2004. He joined National Institute of Information and Communication Technology as an expert researcher in 2004. From 2006 to 2007, he served as an assistant manager at NEC. From October 2007, he joined Kyoto University as an assistant professor, and has been an associate professor since August 2010. His general research interests are in the area of multimedia information systems, data mining and social informatics. His current interest includes sightseeing informatics, investment informatics, and Informational Nutrition (information complementation). He is a senior member of IEEE, and a member of ACM, DBSJ, IPSJ and IEICE.

報告摘要：

We are conducting research and development on social information infrastructure to support the realization of sustainable societies. In this talk, I would like to introduce the local knowledge mining technology to support the smart life and business activities. In particular, I would like to introduce the user modeling, location modeling, and user-location-relation modeling by using geo-tagged user-generated contents and mobility trajectory data.
